My journey from the first hair loss to transplantation and Contury
When I speak with clients about hair transplantation today, I speak from my own experience. I have gone through that journey, from denying the problem to founding a brand that aims to truly change the market.
"There is not much left to cut"
My hair started falling out around 2018. It took three years before my barber hinted it was time for a radical step. Three years of denial and more frequent haircuts. That radical step was, of course, shaving my head.
Where many men end their journey, I did not find myself. It did not suit me, I felt it was not me. I looked for another solution.

Turkey for the first time
First, I looked around at home in Czechia. The offer did not convince me. Besides minimal references, prices surprised me. It was very expensive.
On the other side stood Turkey as a superpower in aesthetic medicine. Even then it was a global leader in hair transplantation. I thought there had to be more to it than acceptable prices and entrusted myself to one agency.
I do not remember it fondly. Although the transplant itself was professional, I lacked information and felt the service could be delivered at a much higher level.

Intermezzo
I was missing humanity, professionalism, and personal care in the market. I decided to change that. I joined forces with a partner and we started bringing clients to Turkey ourselves. We made sure they got what I had missed when I was in their position.
- personal meetings
- rich and unembellished information
- the truth about procedure discomfort and waiting for results
- trichological examinations
- transparency
- real support on site and after the procedure
Over five years, I gained experience and received an incredible amount of positive feedback. Clients felt I was dealing with the same problem, had been through a similar experience, and was simply one of them. That gave me energy.
But I wanted to move even further, towards serious healthcare partners and a broader offer. My business partner and I saw it differently. I also wanted my own project. I decided to start a new life chapter.
“Negative reviews of small clinics or unprofessional agencies appeared more and more often, and I knew this could be done honestly.”
Acibadem, Contury, and my second transplant
Through a friend in Turkey, I got in touch with Acibadem. It's a top network of clinics that won me over with its professionalism and incredible level of environment. Suddenly I saw a new standard that I wouldn't compromise on – and an opportunity to experience what my clients would receive. Although the transplanted hair took root, hair loss continued in areas that weren't transplanted. This is normal. That's why I decided to go for a second transplant.
This time I did not feel like a number, but like a real patient who mattered. It confirmed everything I suspected about the emerging Contury brand.
- complete pre-operative examinations
- oxygen mask during the procedure
- vitamins and antibiotics before the end of the procedure
- absolute cleanliness of operating rooms
- perfect communication
- and above all a feeling of safety and confidence

01. Before the procedure at Acibadem
It is 2025 and I am preparing for my second transplant. From the start, everything at the clinic suggests I will finally be able to forget the first unsuccessful attempt.
02. One to two weeks after
I struggle with the urge to scratch, like everyone else, I have to resist. Yes, this phase is a bit uncomfortable. Scabs form and itch. But you can handle it for a few days.
After about fourteen days, we can clean the scalp with a gentle massage and foam application. You can see the result in the photo. Red areas are completely normal.
The whole head is sensitive but heals quickly, especially the donor area. At this stage, haircutting is definitely not recommended, so I still have to wait for hair styling.

03. Two months after the procedure
Healing is perfect. I am in the shedding phase. Natural density is still ahead. For the final result, a person usually waits about a year.
It is important to have realistic expectations from transplantation. Be careful what anyone promises you.
It also goes badly without care. I use quality cosmetics, vitamins, and serums. I also underwent stem-cell treatment and another PRP therapy. Everything I recommend to clients, I also do myself.
04. After a quarter of a year
Growth returns. The hair looks childlike, very thin and fine. It foreshadows a period of strengthening and darkening. It is basically hair adolescence.
Thickening is visible on the crown and front hairline, and I can look forward to continued progress. Around the sixth month, I expect about a 50% result.

99% of those who write to me just need reassurance that this is the right decision.
Video from my transplantation
Clients tell me they feel better after transplantation. Younger. That they found confidence and their face they had lost. No one regrets it, and I am no exception. On the contrary, I see hair transplantation as one of my best decisions.
